Transitional Housing Program Partners

Who we work with

Bridge Communities works in partnership with local churches and community action groups to provide transitional housing to homeless families that live and work in DuPage County. By working together, Bridge and its Program Partners can provide a comprehensive program to those we serve.

Our Program Partners provide:
  • Volunteer Mentors: the "heart" of our model of transitional housing. Trained volunteer mentors meet on an ongoing, regular basis with the families and help them develop the life skills to achieve and maintain their self sufficiency.
  • Financial Support: partner in the essential financial support to share in the costs of renting an apartment and associated services.
  • Housing Resources: supply furniture and household items for client family, if needed.
