With your support, children in the Bridge program can unlock their potential and set themselves up for a lifetime of success.
Unlock their Potential
Children experiencing homelessness were the reason that Mark Milligan and Bob Wahlgren founded Bridge Communities in 1988, and children have remained our guiding force for the last 30 years. But it’s not just the young children that matter. It’s the older ones, too.
When you give to the Bridge Communities Founders Fund, you will ensure that Bridge teens are able to fly before they leave the nest. You will connect them to:
- College preparation workshops
- Career assessment
- ACT and SAT tutoring
- Scholarships
- Personal assistance with college applications and financial aid forms
- And more!
You will ensure that every Bridge teen is on the best, personalized path to a bright future. Join us, and together, we’ll ensure that Bridge teens unlock their potential and set a course for a better tomorrow.
“When my family and I first entered Bridge in 2003, I had the potential to succeed in the classroom, but lacked the necessary focus. Bridge connected me with a tutor who helped elevate me from a student focused on just ‘getting by’ to one who strived to excel academically.
What I did not know at the time was that experience, along with the social benefits of being in the program, would have a lasting effect on my educational future. My time in Bridge Communities instilled in me a drive for academic excellence that I carried with me all the way through graduate school.” –Jordyn
We believe all Bridge teens can achieve greatness, just like Jordyn--but we need your help to make that happen. Please make a gift to the Bridge Communities Founders Fund today!
