Transitional Housing Program Partners

Bridge Communities works in partnership with local faith-based and community action groups in providing transitional housing to families experiencing homelessness. By working together, Bridge and its Transitional Housing Program Partners can provide a comprehensive program to those we serve.

Our Transitional Housing Program Partners provide:

Volunteer Mentors: The "heart" of our Transitional Housing Program model. Trained volunteer mentors meet on an ongoing, regular basis with the families and help them develop the life skills to achieve and maintain their self-sufficiency.  These mentors work in partnership with Bridge Communities' professional case managers.

Financial Support: Program Partners share in the financial costs of renting an apartment and associated services.

Housing Resources: Furniture and household items for client family, if needed.
