On November 2nd more than 1,000 children, teens and adults will spend the night sleeping outside in tents, boxes, or cars or doubled up inside their homes without a bed to call their own, all to raise awareness about family homelessness and funds for Bridge Communities' Transitional Housing Program.

This year I will sleep out with my family for the first time in the 8 years that I have been participating in Sleep Out Saturday. It will be inconvenient, uncomfortable, and I don't think any of us will get a good night's sleep. We will probably be grumpy the following day. But this is just a tiny glimpse into the lives of moms and dads who have to do this every night...and then get themselves up and off to work and their kids off to school. Thank you for supporting us and for supporting the work of Bridge Communities! Tonight and every night, Bridge is providing safe housing to hundreds of parents and kids as they work towards a stable and secure future.
